Using the Controller
Insert Memory Card
The 730 Series stand alone printers supoort the following memory card types: SmartMedia, Compact Flash, Secure Digital, Multi Media, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro. They also support xD cards with an optional adapter.

Printing Photos
The 730PS Printer can print true borderless 4"x6". 5"x7" and 6"x8" size photo paper.
Step 1 : Use the Arrow Keys to select the Photo function and press the OK key to enter the image browser page.
Step 2 : Use the Arrow Keys to select an image and press the OK key to confirm.
Step 3 : Use the Arrow Keys to choose the number of prints you wish to print out. If you want to edit this image press the Edit Key to enter the edit menu. In this menu you can select to Move, Rotate, Resize and Enhance your picture before printing.
  
Step 4 : Press the OK Key to return to the browsing page when you have finished editing/selecting the number of copies you wish.
Step 5 : Repeat steps 2-4 until all your desired images are edited/selected for printing.
Step 6 : Press the Print Key to print the images you have edited/selected.
 
ID and Passport Photos
This function only supports the use of 4" x 6" photo paper.
- Use the Arrow Keys to select the ID Photo function in the main menu and press the OK Key to enter the image browsing screen.
- Use the Arrow Keys to select the image you wish to make into an ID photo and press the OK Key to enter the ID Photo editing menu.
- Press the Right Arrow Key to enter the ID format selection page, select the desired ID format you want to use and then press the OK Key to return to the ID Photo editing menu.
  
Available ID formats are - 33x45mm, 28x34mm, 35x50mm, 2x2inches, 50x50mm, 50x70mm, 45x65mm, 40x50mm, 35x45mm, 41x51mm, 30x40mm, 25x30mm, 35x35mm, 25x35mm, 2x3inches.
Step 4 : Press the OK Key to return to the browsing page when you have finished editing.
Step 5 : Repeat steps 2-4 until all the desired images are selected for printing.
Step 6 : Press the Print Key to print the edited images.
Index Printing
This function will print thumbnail images of all the photos stored on your memory card.
Step 1 : Use the Arrow Keys to select the Index function on the main menu and press the OK Key.
Step 2 : Use the Arrow Keys to select an index format and press the OK Key. Press the Print Key to start printing your index.
 
Printing Stickers
This function supports three different linds of sticker format : 4x4, 4/2/4, and 1x1.

Step 1 : Use the Arrow Keys to select the Sticker function on the main menu and press the OK Key.
Step 2 : Select the sticker format you wish to use and press the OK Key.
Step 3 : Use the Arrow Keys to select the desired image layout block (A-D) and press the OK Key to enter the browse page.
  
Step 4 : Use the Arrow Keys to select an image and press the OK Key to enter the edit menu. After image editing return to the image layout selection page.
Step 5 : Repeat steps 3-4 until all the layout blocks are filled with images. Please note that the printing process cannot be started until all the blocks are filled.
Step 6 : Press the Print Key to start the sticker printing. Please make sure that you have selected the correct sticker format for the sticker paper you are using to print on.
 

Quick Photo
With this function you can print single pictures quickly and easily.
Step 1 : Use the Arrow Keys to select the Quick Photo Function and press the OK Key to enter the browse menu.
Step 2 : Use the Arrow Keys to select an image and press the OK Key, (or the Print Key), to start printing.

Using DPOF
Before using this function, make sure that your Digital camera supports DPOF printing and that DPOF has been setup correctly on your camera.
Step 1 : Use the Arrow Keys to select the DPOF function on the main menu and press the OK Key.
Step 2 : Press the Print Key to start DPOF printing.

Print All
The 730PS Photo Printer allows you to print one copy of every picture stored on your memory card.
Step 1 : Use the Arrows Keys to select the Print All function on the main menu and press the OK Key.
Step 2 : Press the Print Key to start printing all the images.
Setup
The Setup feature allows you to change many of the printers standard settings. These settings are explained below:

Card Select
Step 1 : Press the Up and Down keys to switch between the Compact Flash slot and the Multi-slot.
Step 2 : Press the OK Key to save this change.
Update Firmware
Step 1 : Insert the memory card with the new firmware stored on it.
Step 2 : Pres the OK Key to reconfirm and start updating.
Please note that you must ensure that the memory card is formatted and completely empty before saving the new firmware onto the card. When available, new firmware can be obtained at www.hiti.com.

Position Calibration
Step 1 : Place a 4"x6", 5"x7" or 6"x8" size photo into the paper cassette.
Step 2 : Press the Print Key to print the calibrating image on the photo.
Step 3 : Use the printing results to change the settings on the printer to ensure your photos fit exactly onto your photo paper. Parameters should be entered into Part A and Part B. See the diagram for more details.
A - Choose the perfect one that matches the detachable border.
B - Choose the perfect one that matches the non-detachable border.
C - Choose the natural look of your skin tone in the photo.
Printout Settings
Step 1 : Press the OK Key to enter the image browse screen.
Step 2 : Select an image for preference setting and press the OK Key to enter the setting menu.
Step 3 : After finishing all your adjustments, choose Save to save these settings to your printer and return to the Printer Setting menu. Your settings will be applied to all your printouts. You can choose Default Settings to reset the printer to its factory settings.
Matte Effect
Select to turn the Matte effect on/off.

Date Print
Select to turn on/off the date printing on the photo, (supported on EXIF file format).
LCD Adjustments
To adjust the LCD to your personal preference, select which function you wish to alter, (between Brightness, Contrast, Colour R/G and Colour B/Y), and follow these steps:
Step 1 : After selecting an adjuistment item, press the OK Key to enter the settings page.
Step 2 : Use the Arow Keys to make your adjustments and then press the OK Key to confirm your settings.
Step 3 : After finishing all your adjustments choose the Save option to save and return to the Setup menu. Please note that you can return to the printers factory settings if you are not happy withthe results.
Language
Use the Arrow Keys to select which language you want to use.
Cleaning Mode
You must use a HiTi Cleaning Kit to utilise this function. To use a Cleaning Kit please refer to the instructions that come with the Kit.
About
Use this function to view what version firmware your printer is using.
