Dear friends, And I hope fellow purchasers of the Amazing Hi Ti 640s, They told me it was good, But they would, would'nt they!. It has worked like a dream from day One and even after a complete change of consumables, they quality has to bee seen to be believed surch word as sublime Superlative are are passed in the quality from this machine. Ok yes I admit it I am in love, with the Hi Ti 640 PS it is so easy to use to operate, and the quality is something you must see, I know you will be astounded just like me. I bought this printer to form part of a Christmas present package for my wife who is keen to explore digital photography. Although she takes many pictures not all get to the printing stage but each time out comes a quality, hassle free print. So far she hasn't once thrown her hands in the air in frustration uttering those immortal words 'Paper Jam ? what's a ...... 'or ' What's it doing now ??' I guess the best of all is in the fact that she only prints an occasional photo and the 630PL is ready to perform without the hesitation of a dried up ink cartridge or some other common quirk of the more usual machines. On the other hand, when first set up, our printer was required to print 10 pictures, one after the other,and it did that with ease too ! All in all, you cannot fault this printer for quality of print, reliability of service and the price is an excellent added bonus. Highly Recommended

The 630 Pl produces photos that are definitley photo shop quality and are probably more durable with a protective coating,. Infinitly better than I have ever produced on an inkjet. The software allows you to correct any photographer errors, so impress your friends with your photographic prowess. The printer represents first class value for money.

I have only printed about 75 pictures, but so far it has behaved perfectly. Easy installation, although the instructions aren't particularly clear about which way to insert the paper in the tray! Small footprint, neither loud nor overly quiet. Software is slightly "clunky" but still quite useable (have only tried it under XP). Print quality is excellent, very hard to tell apart from commercial prints. Prints have a good protective coating that is not too susceptible to fingerprints. Perforations on the left and right hand sides of the print are fine and unobtrusive. It's not the fastest printer, but for light use it's absolutely fine. I can't comment on the long-term reliability as I haven't used it enough to judge, but no signs of any trouble at this stage. All in all, if you want a simple printer for occasional 6x4 prints and you can drive it from a PC (rather than directly from a camera) it's a really good choice.

If you want 6"x4" prints that are much better than the best inkjet, and you are not bothered about a viewing screen, or card slots, than I can recommend the 630PL, I have seen the rest, now buy the best!!!

I have been using this printer for some while now and I was impressed from the word go. If I remember correctly I am now on my 4th box of paper. If anything goes wrong it is me, like putting the paper in the wrong way round or wrong side up. My family have been really impressed with the results, which are as good as those from a photo shop. Many photos that I print are sent by e-mail from relations overseas with just as impressive results.
