 I took delivery of my 730PL about a month ago, and put it straight to work, printing a Chinese Wedding and some Dancing School photos, both of which are extremely colourful, and a severe test for any printer. I had previous experience of dye-sub printing, having regularly used a couple of models from the Mitsubishi range, so I thought I knew what sort of results to expect. But nothing could have prepared me for the shock I was about to get. When the first print came through, I was absolutely STUNNED. The skin tones were the most natural I've ever encountered - whether film or digital - and the way the printer handled the wide range of colours presented by these two subjects was extraordinary. Skin tone was always a bit of an issue with the Mitsubishi's, the results often displaying an un-naturally warm bias, which you could never really quite correct. That's not a problem with the 730PL, however, which is wonderfully neutral. In fact, the results looked SO good, that I decided to have a few of the images printed conventionally in a pro lab, so I could make a comparison. The lab prints had an almost 'milky' look compared to the Hi Touch. Because of the nature of our work - events, functions, weddings etc, we do a lot of on-site printing, and the 730PL is absolutely perfect for this, being fast, clean, and producing finished-size prints that can be placed in a folder immediately, without the need for any further trimming. Another bonus is the ability to change paper sizes in a matter of seconds, should the need arise. I would thoroughly recommend this printer, and will certainly buy another one, when the need arises.

Good print quality on all sizes of print, as I only intend to use the printer from a P.C. the 730 PL is perfect for my needs. Some prints passed around the local Photographic Club received complimentary comments by the members, praise indeed!
