Inkjet Cartridges & Consumables
The Deskjet990C uses four different Ink Cartridges, not all at once, but as indicated below. The Ink cartridges that can be used in the Deskjet990C are as follows:

  • The HP Deskjet 990c series printer is a photo-quality printer that delivers outstanding print quality on everything from text on plain paper to images on photo paper.
  • The printer includes Enhanced Color Layering Technology from HP PhotoREt III Printing Technology, which combines smaller drop size and vibrant inks with improved fade resistance to produce outstanding print quality quickly in all modes and on all media, including incredibly realistic photo images.
  • The printer includes universal serial bus (USB) capability. The USB feature is a peripheral bus specification that provides Plug and Play capability to computer peripherals. In response to local legal requirements, HP might be required to offer a two-year warranty in Europe. During the warranty period, telephone support is provided free-of-charge for hardware-related failures. Telephone support is provided free-of-charge within 90 days of the date of purchase for non-hardware-related failures.
Hewlett-Packard also offers an extended warranty called HP Supportpack for an additional charge. HP Supportpack extends the limited warranty to three years and includes a service called HP Express Exchange. With HP Express Exchange customers who experience a printer failure can call a support number and have a defective unit exchanged with a replacement unit.
