Ive had two brother printers the dcp110 and 115 and both have suffered from deterioting quality over the space of a year or so this is due to wearing of the print head the first printer lasted about a year or so but the second printer only lasted about 3 months and unfortunately even after purchasing an extended warranty on the second printer, im told the ink heads are not covered.

All functions worked perfectly, but then days after the warranty ceased the black stopped printing (proper ink cartridges), then the cyan, then the magenta went erratic. No end of cleaning cycles (which are very wasteful of ink).

this is definitely value for money,very reliable too.for quality gloss photos though it requires a good quality paper & after trying several brands,only a few will give quality bright colour.with it's card reader,printing is easy from thumbnail size right up to full a4 size.i recommend you purchase this all-in one,you certainly won't regret it.

I feel that the printer is a reasonable quality printer given that it also has the ability to perform other functions i.e. scanner, photocapier, digital card analyser. I am more than satisfied with the printer.

Great printer, Ideal for photos etc. Printer ink cheap due to lack of electronic print heads on cartridges, so easy to re-fill from cheap refill kits.
