it's fast, reliable, does double sided paper print and prints really well straight onto CDs. Only down side is the cartridges run out really quickly!......

Bought as a cheap printer for printing CDs. Wonderful quality on paper, first class on CDs. Very speedy and cheap to run on compatibles. Mine has done over 1000 CDs and goodness knows how much paper in one year - probably over 100 reams. 100% for value, shame you can't get them any more!

Excellent printer.Very good for both photos and standard document printing.Very reasonably priced and does not have tantrums over non-OEM cartridges!!!

The PIXMA IP3000 was recommended by a friend. I've had a year of trouble-free excellent printing so far. Very good colour reproduction when using PictBridge to print digital camera photos stand alone. Having two input paper trays is very useful.

Brilliant printer, can print CD/DVD printables, two separate paper feeds, so you can have two different media loaded and switch between. Great quality printout, four separate ink tanks, get a lot of printing before having to change them, it is also a very quiet printer and the auto duplex is brilliant when printing double sided pages.

We had always bought Epson printers - the last was a Photo Stylus 1290 which also prints A3. We print a lot of text pages but also programmes for shows on double-sided flyer paper. The Pixma automatically prints double-sided but very fast and clear. With the software options, printing photos is a doddle and gives excellent results.
