Good advice & after sales service, Apr 16, 2008

I recently decided to take the plunge on a 'Click Light' system. I met Stuart Morley of 'System Insight' at a couple of trade shows & bent his ear for some considerable time. I received all the advice & guidance I needed. I then attended the course. There is no doubt Stuart & Mike knew their stuff and are passionate about the business.
I really did not find Stuart in anyway a hard salesman just giving sound advice. Having purchased the system, either Stuart or one of his staff, have been extremely helpful, even with the seemingly daft questions. I only mentioned to Simon a couple of days ago about a template that I felt would be useful and hay ho he's done it & sent the file through already. You don't get that service with too many companies these days - take your money & that's it !!! I really do like that extra touch & believe it's worth that little bit more to get it. ANY advice or equipment you need for event photography then System Insight is highly recommended.

I have been on one of System Insight's courses, and bought a Mitsubishi printer. Stuart and Mike have a wealth of experience and are always happy to provide help when asked, whether related to the equipment or just the event photography business. I feel I now have a couple of mates I can call on for advice when I need it. I can't think of any other company that provides this level of service and support.

After purchasing an event photography package from another company we found that the IT5000 that we had bought was not wireless ready as we had been lead to believe. After a call to the company we bought it from we were none the wiser! They promised to call us back and that was a week ago!! After calling Mitsubishi they said call SystemInsight, so we did. And thank goodness we did. Within 10 minutes they were able to tell us what we needed and were able to supply and upgrade our equipment within a few days.
The old adage that you get what you pay for is so true! We will not be going elsewhere for equipment or support in the future and only wish we had gone to SystemInsight first!!

Finding System Insight has been a huge help. The information on the web site is detailed and incredibly useful, but the one to one service I received from Stuart, Ryan and Mike at System Insight was second to none. Genuine expert advice from guys who know and use the kit, understand the market, and had time to demonstrate and explain the different printers and packages on offer was a revelation. Support and after sales service has also been tremendous - you deal with people who have time to talk and time to solve your problems - quickly and efficiently. All businesses could learn a thing or two from System Insight in terms of customer care and philosophy. Outstanding!

With some trepidation I have just purchased a Citizen CW-01
from Systems Insight but I need not have worried. A long time
Mac user I also had to purchase a PC laptop with which to use
the Picasa software (incredible and FREE!) both products were
also recommended by Stuart. I anticipated real problems with
the set-up and use of these items but those fears were
unfounded. Everything worked seamlessly, right out-of-the-
box, and the results (in seconds!) are superb just as Stuart said
it all would! Just trust these guys they know what they are
talking about. You would be crazy to go anywhere else when
considering purchasing a dye sub printer. Their knowledge,
expertise and service can not be bettered anywhere of that I am
certain.

I bought my Mitsubishi IT5000 from Stuart and Mike, and was shown how to use it by Simon. And now, weeks later the after sales service is as good as if I was still in the purchasing the model. I have confidence in the fact that having spent so much money, I will always be able to rely on the back up service that I have had to date.
Well done System Insight!

I first touched base with Stuart and Mike on the phone as I tried to make the choice of which machines to buy for my photography business.
The guys were so helpful that I booked on to thier events photography training course, and to be very honest it was well worth every penny!
Mike could have crammed even more photography based stuff into the day, but stuart is like a fountian of knowledge and once he starts to pour it all out, you just cant cut off the flow!
I duly made the choice to buy from System Insight, even though they were not the cheapest around, but I bought into the whole 'aftercare' service ethos of the boys and time has proven this to be the correct choice.
Like any new equipment there are a lot of little niggels and a steep learning curve, never once during the many calls to the boys was I in any doubt that they were with me all the way.
This all came to pass when the day prior to my first big job I had to call stuart for some complicated outlays I needed programmed into my equipment. I had forgotten to get the job done the week before and Stuart, Simon and Mike all stayed on till 7.30pm to complete the job (Editor: We got the request at 4:00pm and actually it was only Simon that stayed until 7:30pm!) and really saved my bacon!
I can't praise these guys high enough. Money well spent with a company who treat me with respect even though I can be a bit of nightmare at times! (Editor: No Comment!)

I recently hired a Mitsubishi CP9550DW from you for a Charity Ball event here in Berkshire
I would like to say a huge thank you for the service you offered. The printer was essential for the success of the event, and the advice given over the telephone was very helpful.
We had amazing feedback from the revellers and the event organizers; “you were the icing on the cake of the event”. And we took £824 on the evening and with after sales. Not bad for a first event.!! We couldn’t have done it without System Insight’s help and input, so thank you again, we will be using you again that’s for sure.

In fact, I owe apologies for calling one of their team for support

Dear Stuart
Just wanted to drop you a line to thank System insight for the fabulous advice given to me and my husband prior to our first event. Simon helped us with software issues and talked us through major complications until we got it sorted staying way past his work finishing time to help us out. Mike was a source of knowledge about actually doing the event that was invaluable to us.
I love the Hi Ti printer we got. The time it takes to print one image is about the time it takes to put the last one into a folder and carrier bag and hand to the client. So our work flow was perfectly timed and constant throughout the night
Thanks so much for your help….so glad we didn’t go with the box shifters!
Give yourselves a pat on the back for excellent customer service.

Like many others I have recently made the leap into the world of event photography. I have covered many events and functions as a stringer for other photographers and until recently was happy to continue along that path.
While looking to add value to the services I offer my commercial clients I contacted ‘System Insight’ asking if it would be possible for me to call round in order to look at some Dye Sub printers and hopefully get some of my sample images printed.
Within 30 minutes of my initial phone call I was sat with Stuart Morley and Mike Orr discussing the many options available to photographers like me looking for an on site print solution. Refreshingly, there was no hard sell, no promoting one particular system over another, no technical jargon just facts and advice on how best to integrate an on site print solution into my existing workflow.
The enthusiasm of all at ‘System Insight’, is really very uplifting. No matter what the question; the answer always seems to be YES… I am sure that over the last few weeks I have been a bit of a pain to Stuart and Mike as I tend to find myself paying them a visit at least once a week either to ask advice, drop of hired equipment or to pick up new gear. There have been teething problems in setting up all the new equipment the way I would like and also in integrating a wireless system into my existing network but at all times ‘System Insight’, Stuart, Mike and Simon have gone that bit further, over and above what one would normally expect, to ensure I went away confident that my setup wouldn’t let me down.
In summary, I have rarely encountered a supplier who excel in both supplying the right equipment at a good price while also being able to provide such a high level of customer service. I am confident that my experience is not an isolated case. System Insight deliver the goods in terms of pre sales, sales and after sales service… I have not yet attended their one day ‘Event Photography’ course but I am sure the quality of the course matches the rest of the service provided.

It was while attending a Nikon event last year that I first met Mike Orr and was bowled over by his in depth knowledge of starting and growing an event photography business. I really appreciate this back up and support. While I work in Glasgow I know that the boys of system Insight are only a phone call away.

Fairy Tale ending, May 28, 2007

reviewer: Mark from www.eventpix4U.co.uk

|
Having launched an ‘event photography’ my www.Snakespix.co.uk business specialising in Harley Davidson rallies and other biker related photo opportunities in the autumn of 2005, I wouldn’t have said I knew everything there was to know when I took up an invite from Mike Orr to attend one of System Insights ‘training courses’ but I did think I was pretty switched on.
January 2007 - Having made the decision that this year I wanted the ability to deliver prints at the point of sale with the new rally season looming the holy grail I was searching for was a machine that could deliver full 10 x 8 borderless prints as fast as McDonalds can deliver your burger & chips. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am meticulous in my research and I spent hours trawling the net before stumbling across what I was looking for on the site of a well known box shifter that rhymes with Toto (my favorite band) and Fart.
The printer in question had just been launched so it had no track record but the ‘reviews’ sound good. Space here does not allow me to convey the full sad and sorry chain of events that transpired over the following four months, but if you are about to make a major investment in technology that is going to form the basis of your hard earned income, you’re primary concern is ‘After Sales Service & Support’ and you want to read a story with ‘fairy tale’ ending – then check out an abridged transcript on the following link;
http://www.eventpix4u.co.uk/fairytale.htm
Ironically in the course of my research I had been prompted to call System Insight, (as I have subsequently conveyed to Stuart several times), on the basis of glowing recommendations about their willingness to share their considerable knowledge and experience - but felt that impressive as the Mistubishi 9550 sounded it wasn’t quite what I needed
I was nevertheless sufficiently impressed with their ability to impart utterly unbiased advice to enrol on the next training course which gave me an excellent insight into the miriad other ways to make money from ‘Event Photography’ once the relatively short riding season ended.
To say Stuart and the System Insight posse delivered exemplary help and advice above and beyond the call of duty would be an understatement. Having latterly purchased a Mitsubishi and the full Nikon based radio transmitter set up from Stuart and Co., not only did the team spend several hours configuring both my main and my back up P.C. with the necessary ftp but Mike kindly travelled to my home to ensure I was fully conversant with the entire mobile studio lighting set up including radio triggers etc.
Outstanding gentlemen .. You have at least one customer for life.

Best Supplier for Event Photographers?, May 20, 2007
|
reviewer: EasyPhoto Professional Event Photography
from Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire.
|
EasyPhoto Professional Event Photography provides an onsite studio and "at event" printing service based in Oxfordshire. Our first introduction to System Insight was when we purchased a HiTi 730. Before the call, we thought that we had done our homework, but within about 30 seconds we realised that we were speaking to a company who had actually Walked the Talk and knew exactly what this kit could, and could not do.
From that moment on we have dealt exclusively with System Insight for printers, consumables and training. Not because they are the cheapest (neither are they the most expensive!) but because the level of service is simply phenomenal. Whenever anyone complains about their supplier we always mention the unprecedented supplier support we have always received from Stuart and his team at System Insight.
We recently wanted to purchase a Mitsubishi Click 5000 system, and after some web research we picked up the phone to Stuart. We instantly realised, yet again, the difference between a supplier retailing boxes, and a company who knows what they are talking about. This is almost certainly down to the fact that they use the equipment themselves at all types of events.
As this was a large purchase Stuart invited me down to the offices outside Southampton so that I could see the kit, have it configured AND have all our cameras configured for wireless transfer of images AND make sure I was fully trained in operating all the options from the touch screen. All of this was agreed to by Stuart before I actually offered to buy the kit, which demonstrates he is completely confident that people buy from him for the initial and ongoing level of support that he provides.
We made the call on a Tuesday as we desperately needed to use the equipment for a School Ball on the following Friday. This was cutting things a bit fine and I was totally dependant on Stuart and the team. I arrived about lunchtime and there was a Mitsubishi CLICK 5000 out of its box on the desk ready to be setup, with me getting the training at the same time. What other supplier would take this amount of care to support me in being ready for the next day's event?
The configuration didn't actually go that smoothly. Firstly, there was a problem with the newest version of the operating system and then the colours were terrible out of the printer. I dread to think where I would have started if I'd been faced with the same issues on my own – which I would have been had I gone to a cheaper internet box pusher. In under an hour all the issues were resolved and I was seeing faultless operation and good quality prints from the Mitsubishi CLICK 5000 and attached Mitsubishi CP9550DW-S system printer.
There was no way System Insight was going to let me go away without everything I needed for the next day's event. As it happens I did notice a bit of a flurry going on around the offices. What I didn't know was that there was a problem building with the rest of my order.
As every Event Photographer knows, the printer is only one part of the many essential components that combine to make a successful event. For maximum convenience and visual impact we were also purchasing System Insights custom designed and manufactured stackable flight cases, along with the very good quality 7"x5" mounts and most importantly the strongest, most stickiest hazard tape we have ever come across!!
The dashing around was all caused by a late delivery of both the flight cases and the 7"x5" mounts, both of which were essential (in my view) for the event. I must admit I was extremely worried. Most suppliers at this point would have simply held up their hands and said "Sorry, we have been let down by the couriers". But not System Insight! Stuart sent his wife off to collect more flight cases and then he went all the way down to the courier depot to get the mounts himself! Stuart understands how difficult it is to do an event when you don’t have all the supplies you need to give a professional service.
I left at about 8pm with everything I needed for the next day - which was one of our best events to date. Without System Insight as our supplier we would not have had the CLICK 5000 up and running and we were totally dependent upon the high quality quick printing facilities from the CP9550DW-S. At the end of the day, on this occasion I must admit it was Stuart and the team who made the event the success it turned out to be. If, or rather when, I get any issue at all with the Mitsubishi CLICK 5000 I know that I can call System Insight and they will do everything they can to assist me in resolving things as quickly as possible.

You get what you pay for..., May 18, 2007
|
reviewer: Jeremy Nako - NakPhotography

My view on life has always been... you get what you pay for.
I spent many months looking at systems and suppliers before starting my Event Photography business.
I decided to go with System Insight because they were approachable, knowledgeable and – most importantly – they use the kit every week.
I purchased a Mitsubishi Click System in January and we've been extremely busy ever since. I was very happy with the service and the setup from Systems Insight.
So where does the " you get what you pay for" maxim come into this review..? Some weeks ago we turned up at an event at 5pm on a Friday evening, connected all the equipment and couldn’t get the Click system to boot at all.
300 guests arriving shortly, and we had no way of displaying or printing photos. We called System Insight and managed to get hold of tech support before they closed for the evening. After an hour on the phone we jointly diagnosed the problem as a faulty mouse attached to the system and bingo we were back in business.
The offer of a loan machine for the next days event was equally reassuring, though thankfully not needed.
You wouldn’t get that from a box-shifting company, though you may pay marginally less for your equipment. Your choice, but I'm very glad I made the decision that I did.
