Brief Product Description

The CP3020DA(E) provides PC & Mac OSX10 compatibility. At Last 8''x10'' and 8''x12'' Photos at down to earth prices. 91p ex-vat for a 8''x10'' and £1.52 for a 8''x12''! This units connectes directly to your PC and prints a 8''x10'' in only 77 seconds (excluding processing) and a 8''x12'' in only 90 seconds! Macintosh compatible and USB 2 interface.

Please note, Drivers are available for Windows 7 32 bit (Windows 7 64 bit NOT currently available) and Mac drivers up to Leopard.

All our printers do not come with UK power leads from the manufacturer,However we supply free of charge a 2 meter UK power lead with all NEW printers.

    Brought the CP3020DE, after good advice from System Insight. Had the unit up and running within half an hour of opening the box. Very simple to use with excellent picture quality.

    Having read various reviews and spoken to several people I eventually contact System Insight for their help and guidance and was pointed in the direction of the CP3020DAE. Initially I was concerned as to the outlay, being my first dye sub printer spending so much when there are many cheaper alternatives available seemed risky, however after only TWO events the printer has paid for itself. Sales at events have risen by at least 200% since the customer has been able to take away the print within a matter of minutes. Each customer taking away a print is effectively advertising me further as they then proudly show their friends.



    Quality of image and speed is superb as is the construction of the printer. Absolutely first rate and one of the best business decisions I’ve made this year.

    An excellent printer with very good picture quality and colour. Very easy to use with quick paper and ribbon changes.The first picture takes a minute or so to print, however after that the printer copes well with a busy workflow.

    The printer is slightly more expensive, however the cost per sheet is considerably lower than other printers. Also, very good technical information available for those who have any queries.
    I would certainly recommend this printer to other professionals who want to provide a quality product.

  4. Equestrian Event Photo Printing in the field with the CP3020

    Having tried almost everything on the market from HP, & Epsom I turned to Stuart at System Insight for advice and help.My company in its first 12 months of business failed to once get all of its orders into the customers hands on the day. We use Canon EOS digital cameras @ 8.3 MegaPixels with individual file sizes of 3.3MB to 6.1MB and can take between 500 - 700 images at a single equestrian event.A colleague had suggested purchasing the Kodak 1600 Dye sublimination printer as a high speed printing solution. Stuart spend quite some time understanding my business and problems working in the field from a portable generator, with as many as 20 customers all wanting to see their images on the flat screens then place an order at the same time. His advice to go for the more expensive Mitsubishi CP3020 (costing £775 as opposed to £399 for the Kodak - with comparable media pack prices) was backed up with a wealth of useful event photography advice and cost analysis between the two models I was considering. Following his advice I bought the Mitsubishi and 5 media packs of A4 glossy which all arrived smoothly by courier the next working day as promised. Giving us a capacity of 250 A4 sheets for last Sundays regional dressage team event. With only 150 competitors we thought we'd test the printer at a modest sized event first of all. Stuart even offered to extend the trial period (normally 7 days) until after the event on the 19th as he was confident of its performance. Well, Sunday in glorious sunshine and high temperatures has come and gone and on behalf of my company (Stable Images (Equestrian Photography)) and its staff I'd like to say a great big thank you to Stuart and System Insight. As the owner and principle photographer I am usually confronted by stressed and angry staff when I return to the point of sale at the end of the event. The lack of printing speed and other technical difficulties making the job harder than it need be. Last Sunday I returned after more than eight hours of photography, and they were laughing and joking and eating ice creams! For the first time in twelve months every customer had their photo in their hand by the end of the day - a First! No proof sheets to post out when we got back, causing more costs and not part of the digital strategy we formed the company around. Every customer had their photos (some up to four per person in 7" x 5" or 10" x 8" mounted format) in their hand in less than three minutes per print, from completing their order forms.
    The 2 ladies who staff the point of sale had found it so quick to print, that they didn't need to queue jobs. As one finished and was guillotined and mounted, the next was ready for the same. They actually had time to take a lunch break for the first time.
    After twenty minutes pre event training on the new printer, the media packs were easy to change, with the precautionery use of a compressed air duster before loading the next pack, every print was perfect and as they emerge completely dry were much easier to handle and slide into the mounts, so speeding up the whole process. The previous fastest time from order to mounted was 15 mins per print allowing drying time, hence their previous inability to meet demand on the day. Two more medium events and the printer will have paid for itself, I'm over the moon with it. I think the advice given and quality of the kit given will only make our work easier in the future at bigger events.We are even considering buying a second CP3020 in a couple of months. Once again, cheers Stuart from all at Stable Images (Equestrian Photography) and I'm sorry but you can't have the CP3020 back!! I'm looking forward to doing business with them again soon, I thoroughly recommend System Insight for Event Photography solutions.

    I have two other Dye-Sub printers and this is the star of the bunch!! The first print off had slight wrinkle marks - I needed to tighten the ribbon slightly and since then - every one a winner

  6. Mitsubishi Dye Sub Printer

    As an inkjet user and a pro photographer I have been converted to dye sub by the Mitsubishi "it does what it says on the tin" and it's cost effective and quicker than inkjet. Also, inkjet prints are too easily spoiled whereas the dye sub doesn't mind a splash of coffee!! Many claims are made for inkjet printers not all of these claims are achieved. I feel sure that dye sub is a serious threat to inkjet.
