Brief Product Description
Nikon WT-4 Wireless Transmitter for Nikon D300/D3 Series Cameras. Allows wireless transmission between camera and a PC. Additional Equipment may be needed, check with us first to ensure compatibility and system integration. We offer a free setup service ask for details. The WT-4 allows up to 4 configuration setttings which are saved in the wireless base. FTP and PTP modes are supported. The WT-4 requires a EN-EL3e Battery (also suitable for D200 / D300) and Charger which are available separately at an additional cost (ask for details).

I purchased a WT-4 unit a couple of months ago, with some trepidation. I had already sorted out the software side of things on my computer and had decided upon Nikon Camera Control pro based on my Nikon Camera, but also because it allows for a full screen pic to be displayed on my laptop - not something all the other software providers give.
When I tried setting the unit up - nothing worked. However a quick call to the Nikon support centre, gave me updated drivers for both my software and cameras firmware - and after that the instructions were very easy to follow and I was up and running.
The unit works very well - but I do seem to get 'lockouts' if I take too many pictures in quick succession.
I am about to get wi fi connection to the Mitsubishi Click system - watch this space
