If you want to show your photos off then the best way to do this is using a Photo Mount or Photo Folder. Your photos slips into the mount or folder and enhances the oroginal image. It also allow the photos to be displayed easily on a flat surface like a sideboard or mantlepiece.

Black is a very popular colour as it looks modern and enhances the apperence of the original photo.

Photo Mounts

These are usually available in all the standard sizes: 6x4, 7x5, 8x6, 9x6, 10x8 and 12x8.

The photo slips into the mount and has the advantage of only needing one type of mount for each size of print. The mount can therefore be used for portrait and landscape photos.

The mounts have a push out stand which can be used to support the mount in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Photo mounts are usually cheaper as they use less material.

Photo Folders

Again, these are available in the same sizes as a photo mounts (6x4, 7x5, 8x6, 9x6, 10x8 and 12x8) but are available in either portrait or landscape orientation. This means you need to keep two stock items for each size of print you do.

The other disadvantage is that the photo can be hidden from view by folding the cover over the photo. Dye Sub prints don't need the protection that other methods might need.
